Naidoo Awarded for Diversity Research

The ALA’s Office for Diversity, Literacy, and Outreach Services has named Dr. Naidoo the 2016 Achievement in Library Diversity Research honoree. Dr. Naidoo is being recognized for his contributions to the profession, as well as his promotion of diversity. This honor is among many other awards and honors Dr. Naidoo has received during his time at Alabama, including the ALA’s Humanitarian Award in 2015. He will formally receive the honor at the 2016 ALA Annual meeting in Orlando, on June 25th.
